Central Texas Bioregional Learning Centre

Hosted at Green Gate Farms, the Central Texas Bioregional Learning Centre is a community-led and inspired applied learning centre where we (re)learn how to belong with each other and nature, and "how to live in a place." Our goal is to empower individuals and communities to develop a deeper connection to their local environment and work towards more sustainable and regenerative ways of living. Take a minute and think of the reasons you like about living in our local region. Now imagine yourself in a friendly room with some other folks that did the same thing. Different ages, ethnicity, livelihoods and beliefs - all with their own story but curious about the history, present times and future we're building together. Now add in a shared desire to ReLocalize our food sources, community resilience and neighbors' skills to make it happen. The Bioregional Learning Center is a place and a process designed to do that very thing. There are many other BLCs around the world. Similar vision, similar action. Different bioregions.

The Green Gate Neighborhood Development Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable program of Kula Applied Research Institute
